Planning your balloon event.
What are the space and safety requirements for a tethered balloon ride or night glow?
To safely operate a tethered balloon or night glow at your event, we require a clear, flat, open area of at least 200 feet by 200 feet. The space must be completely free of overhead utility lines, light poles, trees, and structures.
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate for our event?
Hot air balloons are highly dependent on weather conditions. For safety, we cannot operate in high winds, rain, or unstable atmospheric conditions. Because weather is unpredictable, all event contracts include clear guidelines on weather delays, standby times, and rescheduling or cancellation terms.
Are your operations insured?
Yes, absolutely. Aeromax operates with comprehensive aviation liability insurance tailored for corporate activations, festivals, and public tethered rides. We can provide certificates of insurance (COI) naming your corporation or venue as an additionally insured party upon request.
